Date: Thursday, 27th February

Time: 12:30

We’d like to invite you to attend our 2nd Audit & Accountancy webinar Brydon's Review of the Audit Market, which takes place on Thursday, 27th February 2020 @ 12.30pm.

The webinar will feature a panel of speakers, and will be chaired by Audit & Accounting Content Manager Julia Bowyer FCA, with discussion from Senior Audit Technical Writer Helen MacNeil FCA and Accountants in Business conference speakers Mark Wearden MSc FCCA FCIS and Ralph Tiffin BSc FCA AMIMechE.

What you'll learn...

In this webinar, we will cover the key points in the Brydon review report released in December, considering what the implications of this report might be for auditors.

Our panel of in-house and external experts will reflect on audit expectation gaps, the use of language and reporting, the replacement of the 'true and fair' concept, should auditors detect fraud and whether there will be a new 'corporate auditor' profession.

We will keep track of future developments in order to keep the guidance and programmes in our new service Navigate Audit up to date with changes as and when they come into effect.
